Marlborough Mountain Bike Club AGM 2020

The 2020 AGM will be held on Wednesday September 23rd 2020 at 7:00pm at Fairweathers, Blenheim.
MMBC welcomes everyone to attend.

NOTE FROM PRESIDENT FRASER BROWN
”We encourage you to come along to our AGM this year. MMBC has grown significantly over the last couple of years and as a result we really need some extra help with organizing and running events, trail building projects and general support to help develop and grow MMBC and Marlborough into becoming a mountain biking mecca!! MMBC are super excited about the future and we welcome your help and support.”

NOMINATIONS

MMBC request written nominations for the 2020-2021 Committee in advance (before Thursday 17th September) for the Core committee positions and nominations or registrations of interest for other roles.

Core committee positions are :

• President (Note: current incumbent Fraser Brown will stand for re-election in 2020/21)

• Vice President (Note: current incumbent Dave Sheard will stand for re-election in 2020/21)

• Secretary (Note: current incumbent Helen Walshe will stand for re-election in 2020/21)

• Treasurer (Note: current incumbent Stephen Bradley will not stand for re-election in 2020/21)

7 current committee members will be standing again (Stephen Bradley, Craig Sheridan, Ian Wilson, Lowri McNabb, Peter Webster, Justin Kenward and Phil Dasler) and we are looking for at least 2 more to join with assistance being required in the following areas:

• Event Management

• Admin (Social Media, Website, Membership)

• Trail Maintenance

• Sponsorship / Grants

Core committee nominations require written/emailed nominations and seconded by another person.

Committee positions will ONLY be filled from the floor in the night if not enough nominations or registrations of interest are received in advance.
