CLUB CHAMPS 2018
This year, Race Two of the LA CRUZ NZ XC SERIES 2018 will double as our Club Championships. Race Two will be held on October 6th and more information on the series can be found HERE.
Placings in this event will determine Club Champions in each age category, and will also score you points in the LA CRUZ NZ XC SERIES 2018.
If you purchased a “Three Event Entry” to the XC Series - you are already entered and we will see you at Registration! DETAILS TO FOLLOW.
If you have not bought an entry to the Series - you may purchase a single entry to the Oct 6th or Dec 16th XC Series events in our online store HERE. Please take care to fill out the notes as requested so we can load you up in advance into the correct age category.
An entry into Race Two automatically registers you into the Club Champs.
RACE DAY INFORMATION
This race will offer something for everyone! Some single track and some open 4WD track (for the CX / Roadie crew to claw back some time lost on the more technical sections) is sure to guarantee some stiff competition!
Registration will be begin at 1:00pm with a planned Race Start of 2:00pm.
If you have not registered in advance by purchasing an entry HERE, the entry fee will be $25 on the day. You will also need to be a Club Member to place in this race - more information on that down below!
DIRECTIONS
Head out of town towards the Awatere valley on Taylor Pass Rd. 3-4 minutes past the Jentree property (on the gravel section approx 300 meters past the second Ford), you will see a parking area on the LEFT hand side of the road and some MTB Club signage so you know you are in the right place! There is no cell reception around the area so please bear that in mind!
IMPORTANT
Only registered and paid-up Club Members will be eligible to place in this race.
If you are not a paid-up member for the current 2018/19 season by the start of the Race on Oct 6th, you will NOT be eligible to win a placing either on the day OR for the LA CRUZ NZ XC SERIES 2018.
