Race Report for Thursday 5 February 2015
The turnout for the hot Thursday night ride was a down on recent weeks but the enthusiasm was there – well for most. Tristan, Gavin and Sven battled it out over five laps. Tristan managed to consistently complete his laps just a bit quicker than Gavin who was just that bit quicker than Sven. Matt Mitchell plugged away getting slightly quicker with each lap. Justin’s tractor overheated again and Jason found it a bit difficult to ride with just one pedal clip after other one fell off.
Khan (JM) turned in a steady run to complete five laps and Liv Bishop just held out her father, Jut, even after his two quicker mid-race laps.
Ride of the night is given to Asha Claridge (Very Junior Women) who chugged away doing three laps of the shorter course (we think!).
The one armed bandit (Andrew Benger) and Kevin Wilson did the timing and Peter Webster set the course.
